Shahdara is a district in the eastern part of Delhi. It is one of the 11 districts of Delhi. It lies in the North-East part of Delhi. It is bounded by Ghaziabad and Meerut of Uttar Pradesh. As per the latest census, Shahdara has a population of 322,931 and is the least populous district of Delhi. It is located in the north-east region of Delhi. The district is bounded by East Delhi district in the south, Central Delhi district in the south-west, and North East Delhi district in the north. It is also known as the industrial capital of Delhi.
