Delhi's Districts

Delhi is divided into 11 districts, each of which has its own unique characteristics.

The district of Central Delhi is the oldest part of the city and is home to many historical landmarks. The bustling markets and narrow streets of Old Delhi are a contrast to the wide boulevards and colonial architecture of New Delhi.

South Delhi is the most affluent part of the city, with upscale neighborhoods and shopping malls. This district is also home to some of Delhi's most popular tourist attractions, including the Lotus Temple and Qutub Minar.

East Delhi is a largely residential area with few tourist attractions. However, it does have some notable monuments, such as the Red Fort and Jama Masjid.

North Delhi is another residential area, but it also contains some important historical sites.

West Delhi is a mostly industrial area with several large businesses and factories. However, it also contains some residential neighborhoods and green spaces.
